You sound like a pretty smart boss. And one who won't be plagued by unions. And one who will attract and keep very good people. Having been in sales management I'm also very much in favor of performance based pay another big union no. Productivity is often not what they are after. They have a vested interest in lowering productivity. Lower productivity requires more employees and more union members and more union dues to get the same amount of output. Lincoln operates under the philosophy that I would like to operate under and the union hates them. I wonder why? Me too. :-) I'll bet the employees don't, though.
