I was hoping that yesterday would put some fear in the J6Ps of the world but CNN is parked at a Schwab office and so far, everyone they have interviewed has said, "I am buying the value here", "I am in it for the long run", "others may be selling but I am buying", "I am buying CSCO because it will ROCKET up when this is over" and my favorite... "I don't want to check my portfolio because it won't do any good to know how bad it is". Holy Mother of Cleveland! Now that is what I call denial!!!!! I guess we need a few more 400 point down days. At that level, the contract is pricing in 100% odds of a 50 basis point rate cut at the March 20 FOMC meeting and a roughly 20% chance of 75 basis points in rate cuts. But the contract has yet to fully reverse the drop in easing expectations that followed the stronger-than-expected employment report for February.
