I also think if Bush desides to stop pushing for a tax cut or accepts a much smaller one that it will hurt the market.

Now you all are saying that but back in Nov-Dec, there was a different version running around...that the election confusion was causing problems for the Naz and once a new president was elected there would be a rally.....that in fact the markets would prefer Bush over Gore.

Not criticizing you specifically but the Kudloe's and the Isana's of the world, both of which have a Rep. bias, were spouting that line day after day....as were various Reps. on this thread.
