Scumbria,, Bush talking the economy down again: White House Sees Signs of Further Economic Weakness WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said on Tuesday that a government report showing a drop in U.S. retail sales suggested further weakness in the U.S. economy.<<<<<< Don't weak retail sales actually suggest a weak economy? What is the problem with that statement. In fact, they said the same thing this morning on CNBC within a minute after the report was out. Actually this report confirms what Gw has been saying, that the economy is in danger of going into a recession; and needs a tax cut to stimilate it.
