Scumbria ..Only a moron would rush a ten year tax cut through Congress to try to fix a short term problem.<<<<<

The real problem has been congressess inability to rein in spending; which is the long term problem. Congress has yet to show the ability to control a budget; which necessitates a tax cut just to keep spending under control. Only a moron would think we can keep raising spending at a higher than inflation rate.

Bush isn't a moron.
Definition of moron -
1 : a mentally retarded person who has a potential mental age of between
8 and 12 years and is capable of doing routine work under supervision
2 : a very stupid person

Bush isn't a moron or idiot.

From your perpective you should probably call him a fool because you think he is unwise, (I don't but you are of course entitled to your own opinion) but that isn't the same thing as being a moron.

I have some doubt that even you really consider him a moron. A moron is a person so stupid they can't function as an adult let alone as president.

I don't want the tax cut to fix a short term problem but to make things better for the long term.

I don't want a ten year tax cut I want a permanent tax cut. But really any tax cut or increase is only to the current political balance changes. In addition to lower taxes it would be nice to have simpler and more stable tax laws but that seems like a utopian dream rather then something that is likely to actually happen.
