but I do have a good friend who is a tax pro and he told me the same as OWN STOCKS posted; the number of people coming in who had big gains in 2000 and didn't set aside the taxes is many and a lot of them are now biting into their core to cover the tax bill. In which case I'd take an extension at least until June. Though I'm not giving advice. Just saying what I'd do in that situation. Pat
