<< So by MSFT's metric, her homepage is worth $52 x 8,000, or $416,000 !! Lars, maybe she should sell her page to MSFT. >>

I would argue that any site that gets 8,000 unique viewers per month and does this on a regular and growing basis IS worth $416,000 or more.

If you don't think that MSN has a truly remarkable value based on being the largest world wide Internet destination, you just aren't worth discussing this with. Anyone that can't see the value of this is blind. If 56 million people per month want to use something, it's valuable. Current EPS contribution is irrelevant. Future EPS contribution is VERY relevant.

IMO, MSN will provide billions of revenue in the future.

"Let's ignore, for now, that many of those "unique visitors" are really just multiple hits from single users with dynamic IP addresses, and many others are hits from headless "bots" that are just gathering spammable email addresses and data for search pages."

... or logon hits from people who don't know how to change their "home" page as it comes configured from the factory, but who really have no interest in MSN.

JMHO.
