If Reps. were children, they would be considered immature and selfish, and the adults in their lives would be trying to teach them to share.

You do realize the difference between sharing and forced confiscation, right?


Tim,

Government is the sharing of wealth to insure the adequate provision of services and the well being of its citizenry. In an affluent society like ours, we should be willing to insure that none go hungary and homeless.

BTW that's not communism...that's being a good Christian, Jew, Muslim, agnostic, atheist, etc.

Communism is when citizens do not have much personal wealth..the society's wealth is concentrated in the gov't and they provide most services including shelter.

I have never been a proponent of communism mainly because under such a system, its very difficult not to stifle human individuality and motivation, two qualities I consider very important.

Fortunately, there is a huge chasm in between us and communism....plenty of room for change.
