Quite a roller coaster ride today... The Nasdaq New Lows/New Highs ratio (20:1), with over 200 New Lows is hinting that we are getting close to a bottom... finance.yahoo.com

Perhaps the CSCO flip flops about buying back shares, and finally fessing up that they are considering it has softened the blow on the market today.... Back in 1987 the IBM buyback of its own shares buoyed the market... I still think there is more downside to about the 1800 area on the Nasdaq before things quiet down and we put in a bottom... There are still some overhead gaps in the 2050 and 2175 areas that have to be filled...
