1100-1150, so they are getting close to their goal. They have also painted themselves into a corner, as lower rates will cause overseas money to flow out to some extent, and then you have the Japanese, who need cash, and they hold a big pile of US debt. A real hard spot.
I read this morning that the FED reported, for the first time in 55 years, that the average family lost 2% of their net worth last year, and their debt rose by 8.7%
Glad I ain't average.
I should point out that net worth increased 12.6% in 1997,
10% in 1998 and 14.1% in 1999. so, will this trend continue? Will real estate be the next crash?


Should be interesting how this all works out.
