By now, the Nikkei is up 100. They did not hear me, I was a fly on the wall two weeks ago in the BOJ secret office where they discussed that exact contingency...(VBG). But seriously, it was the only rational thing to expect, CB and big houses will do what is necessary to avoid financial melt downs. They do not mind well orderly decline into which they can unload their inventory, but cascading declines is abhored in all financial circles.
