I agree about the premium gas and auto on 4Motion. I wish they would import the turbo-diesel. In CT diesel is actually subsidized relative to gas.

But demand is too high in Europe. Something like half the Passats are TD. They have refined them so you really can't tell the difference - except that they get fantastic mileage.

Tried to buy a TD Jetta in SW FL last year and they had none. Said the Germans snap them all up for their 2nd homes.
