John and all, Public service announcement...

Expedia, Travelcity and the travel agent industry tried to shut it down as a monopoly even before a page was built. But they built it anyway. For those who travel a lot, or a little, bookmark this site and verify you're getting the best plane fare available.

John,

Also from the Intel CC, I thought they said that notebooks were OK, servers were soft. Maybe my memory is failing me again.

I think they had notebooks and desktop in the same category, as far as how well they were doing. They didn't say notebooks were better growth (or slower decline) than desktops.

RE:"One piece on anecdotal evidence is that BBY said in their February sales report that notebooks showed a very good increase in sales while desktops were still soft"

A CompUSA manager told me the exact same thing.
Meanwhile, AMD searches for a mobile chipset.
I did see a Sony Notebook with a Transmeta chip advertised by Egghead in USA today...I guess they finally made one.
