Hi The Prophet; Re: "Let's just say that, for now, IFX has done a better job than RMBS of pitching their version of what really happened at JEDEC." The big move today is about the Markman decision by the judge. (And don't anybody worry too much about the fact that it hasn't been so ordered yet. This judge has repeatedly announced decisions with the statement that he will write up an order sometime in the near future. But for the prayers of RMBS longs, he also always reserves the right to reread the documents and change his mind. In short, last night's Markman news suggests that none of Rambus' patents cover any of SDRAM or DDR SDRAM. If this holds, then the only thing going on with JEDEC is that the various memory makers are going to try and make (attempted) fraud charges stick on Rambus and its management. -- Carl
