Tip--- actually I think that Clinton at one point in his life wanted to be a good president, I really do... I think that the people knew that as well....I'll bet that in the last election that given the choice of Bush or Clinton, Clinton would have won, without BS ballot counting.....

Tippet, why do you say GW has character ?

1) He didn't disclose the drunken incident.
2) His wife killed a girl when she was young while driving. A person with character might think twice before marrying someone like that.
3) He is lying about the effects of tax cuts, at least the time frame.
4) He has exaggerated about most of his achievements, and minimized the mistakes. What has he really achieved on his own, except the presidency, that too because Al Gore ran his campaign like an idiot.

I don't know about GW. He has just too many flaws to think that he could have reached where he has. Just because the other choice was really poor, he succeeded. Just imho.
