Scumbria,

I find it interesting that the new Secretary of Energy is calling for blackouts in CA this summer yet seems unwilling to do anything about it. [And in case anyone doubts that there will be blackouts, CA depends on energy from the NW in the summer....that ain't happening this summer, we are in the worst drought since the 70's].

I am not sure price caps are the way to go but I had hoped that the feds would cause a breakup of the apparent bottleneck in Sacramento. I am not sure whether this is a game of chicken or what but IMO this is not the time to let one of the most important state economies go into the toilet.
