After reading up on round cables, I think that every computer should come with them. My computers are always fully loaded, and I can see those flat cables causing air flow problems. I have not had any heat issues, I clean my computer out every 4 months. Take it outside, take off the outer plastic casing, get a can of that compressed air and blow all the dust out. I think that dust plays a role in the amount of heat inside your computer as well.

I noticed on a Dell 800 I tried last summer, they had a cowling overtop of the CPU to draw air overtop of the heatsink into the fan to increase cooling. The problem with that cowl is it increases the noise factor cause of the air movement.

It was twice as loud as my P2, same case, only difference was the cowl.

I hope when I get my new Dell P4, the noise issue will be taken care of. I hate loud computers.
