Another Sagent press release, this one concerning their refinancing. Sagent appears to be making the right moves to emerge from this time of volitillity as a player in the BI/AA/OLAP market.

I havent been filled yet on my Sagent order, but i did pick up a number of DVIN shares. Devine is trading well below their cash on hand and has the strength and experienced management to be a new EIP player.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2001--Sagent (Nasdaq:SGNT - news), a leading provider of Business Intelligence solutions, today announced that the company has completed an agreement for a $16.6 million private placement of its common stock with a select group of institutional investors led by Zesiger Capital of New York.

``During this era of dot-com fallout in Silicon Valley and ultra-conservative investing, this equity infusion is an endorsement of our new management team, core technologies, business strategy and long-term potential,'' said Ben Barnes, president and CEO, Sagent.

A new strategic partner, as well as several other new institutional investment funds, including the Special Situation Funds, also of New York, also backed the private placement of approximately 5.7 million shares. Under the terms of the agreement, funding will be received within five business days.

``A prestigious group of investors is funding the capital resources we need to execute our new plans, and we are pleased to have them participate,'' Barnes said. ``Additionally, this investor group is financing Sagent through the purchase of common stock--terms that we believe are favorable to Sagent.''
