The markets for Business Intelligence tools (BI), Analytic Applications (AA) and & On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) are booming. There are many companies that offer products and tools covering these areas, including the DBMS vendors, IBM and Microsoft. In addition, many ERP and CRM companies have built tools specifically for use with their own products. Most BI tools have been integrate with the products of largest vendors in these fields. I have created this thread for the discussion of the BI, OLAP and AA market as a whole. It will focus on companies whose PRIMARY business is BI/OLAP/AA and not widly diversified firms (eg: MSFT, ORCL, IBM, SAP). By pooling the information and expertise in these fields which are currently spread over many other threads it is my belief that we can collectively synthesize new knowledge. An excellent related thread which covers many BI stocks is: Enterprise Information Portals (EIP) Subject 50557 Note: This thread is NOT for stock price updates, short term technical analysis, or off topic discussions. Posters who persist in these activities will be prevented from posting on the thread in the future. | ||||||||||||
