You are wrong again. We are discussing income tax rates.

You intrude with the irrelevancy of payroll taxes - which are akin insurance and pension payments.

So I answered your irrelevancy with a relevancy - that the "rich" get less benefits relative to their payments than the poor and, in the case of SS, are taxed again.

So your sophistry is exposed.

>>Just as you claimed that Clinton's low personal approval poll ratings disproved the fact of Clinton's high job approval ratings.

Yes, you still haven't shown that Clinton left office with high ratings, as you erroneously claimed. Thanks for reminding us.

Dear Nadine and all: I just finished reading the article on the SI lead in page about the Daimler Chrysler layoffs and the pain they are causing for the employees. I happen to like their products. The Jeep division has, to my knowledge, ALWAYS been successful. The minivan group was the leader in the field and it still receives high marks from auto magazines that rate these things, the Dodge Ram trucks are good looking and also well rated. Dont know so much about the cars but IT SEEMS TO ME, all the BAD THINGS happened to Chrysler AFTER the merger with the Germans. For instance, the article indicates Chrysler had 9 BILLION in cash at the time and its ALL GONE!! Whats going on and if a tax cut will stimulate this economy to save these people's jobs who can be against it? JDN

Did you run the numbers on how massively disproportionate the "rich" pay in taxes....serves to stand they would benefit from a tax cut but not as disproportionate to what they pay however.
