There are SUNW customers who are working hard to get their Solaris based services onto more cost efficient platforms. Nobody wants to pay for anything. It is a matter of alternatives. There are plenty of alternatives toSun systems, I know of no alternative practical memory bandwidth increase technology that doesn't infringe on RMBS patents. That's why all these companies are using RMBS technology, while claiming to not need to pay for it.
