you know what thou,,,, this past week, alone

i have overheard conversations, or been in them (lightly). In which people who really have nothing to do with the stock market on a full time basis, saying the market should be avoided, especially techs. For Instance, today i was eating breakfast at a local diner in L.A., when my girlfriend's sister's husban(electricians), was mentioning that his boss told him to stay out of the stock market, waiter overhears him and he is like " Oh yeah the stock market, My god, that is no place to be in. Take your money out and place it in Cd's". Ive also heard this at poker tables and also with a real estate broker, the prospective buyer (a cop) --all of them shunning the market. I just kept quiet, and dint bother to add in my input. (even thou if you where to look at me : i look like an 18-19 yr old, backward hat wearing, rap listening, have a warehouse job, no education fellow). All those people shunning the market made me remember a chapter i read in Ed Lefevre "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" In which Jesse knew the market hit a top when busboys , and shoe shiners where giving him stock tips. The reverse is starting to form
