You're a plant, aren't you? Tell the truth! You were sent in here by AG's people to point us dumb investors to the error of our ways....Right? At least, I can tell from your logic that you're a CIA agent....definitely same pathological logic pattern! Tell us the truth. enquiring minds wanna know!!!

On your logic. You would be correct if you bought back the same number of shares at double the price. Only problem is you can only buy back half the number of shares at double the price. You will make 600%.... on one half the number of shares. So...(as I said)....effectively you will only make 300%. So, the price increase in itself is dividing once. The 1/2 the number of shares is dividing once. You need to divide by two, twice.
