Benny,

>>>>To be honest I never expected Yahoo to advertise Bill Pay as much as they do.

IMO the reason Yahoo is advertising so much for Checkfree is that it is probably one of the best returns for them in this dot-bomb environment. Maybe they are looking to make themselves some money instead of giving ad space away for very little. Cost/Benefit ratio for bill pay vs the money they are getting from other sources like putting money in the bank for a rainy day. If they manage to get 500,000 subscribers that will use the service, that becomes reccurring revenue vs the little money they can sell the space for in this ad market. When the economy turns around I am sure we will see less ads, until then I hope the sub numbers really explode.

Regards,

Rob

I just saw a banner ad on the front page of msnbc advertising 6 Free Months of BillPay from MSN.

Aha! I just looked at the msn.com site and saw they are finally getting the CKFR look and functionality. About time. Maybe they'll add a function like a check register or P2P payments.

Soon, you will be able to receive and pay e-bills from more merchants on MSN. As a result of the completion of the previously announced merger between TransPoint and CheckFree, the MSN Bill Pay service is being upgraded in early May.
