Well, that's a cheerful story! Happy Equinox to you and all the rest of the guys at the BS Bar & Grill. I think the special of the day should be salmon, don't you think? Outside my window as I type I am looking at the front yard - one of the apricots has pink flower buds almost ready to burst open. I checked all the fruit trees - they are going to flower at different times, some have buds that are just teeny bumps (the cherries, the Seckle pear and the apple tree), some have buds that are fat and have started to crack a tiny bit (the Moonglow pear and the plums). Some of the trees have really taken hold and some seem kind of iffy. All three figs made it through the winter.
