I agree with the sentiments that Bill Gross expressed. I think that this wave of attacking Greenspan is ludicrous. He warned for a long while that we were in the process of creating a bubble starting with his "irrational exuberance" speech. He said it repeatedly in other speeches including his Humphrey-Hawkins testimony and it was ignored for the most part. I think that much of this attempt to find a scape-goat is not dissimilar to the inclination that we have to refuse to accept responsibility for our own decisions in other facets of life.
