Got a nice AMD 900 or 950 (forgot which) with some bells and whistles and W2K for a thousand. Almost drove over here, elecbarn.com , but guessed the savings would be negligible. Zip Drive, CD R/W, large capacity high speed HD, 256K. Some other stuff that I don't recall.

Heck, computers are such a minor commodity in this kind of business it's easier to buy a new one than learn how to fix that Windows B.S.; although I almost took a course in W2K as well. Made no sense though. I certainly don't intend to be spending my time tricking out Windows. If it breaks, it goes in the garbage where it belongs. There is nothing more of a waste of time than figuring out Windows when you could be figuring out a trade.
