DO you know there isnt any oil on our side of the ANWR? I dont myself.. the point of course is; that its irrelevant... the act that created the park forbid any type of oil exploration.. we may be sitting on a lot of oil for all we know.. but the point is - the park is protected completely.. and we're yelling at you because the potential for environmental harm is huge - and US oil does not have a stellar environmental record

As for the forests... check your facts Harry - Canada is self-sufficient in lumber, the USA is not and has not been for a long time.. which is why you import so much wood.. why is that the case? Over-cutting... a waste and misuse of a resource.. an ominous fact that didnt get learned obviously with regards to oil or any other amt of energy down your way
