Joe, Don't forget that short covering has in effect been another way to say profit taking. Short covering has created all the recent failed rallies. The rallies failed because there hasn't been much of any other buying. That said, we're due for another round of profit taking.:-) btw, short positions as of 3-15 come out in a few days. Went to see UCONN's season finale against Detroit. I am happy to say I supported my team in its time of need. LOL IOWA vs UCONN will have to wait till next year. I agree with you about the exaggeration on the downside trend, but until we figure out if we've got recessession or inflation, the market will continue to stumble. Sergio
