The US embrace 3G. Remember when I asked in this thread "What if wireless is the real thing"? Judging by the latest news 3G is catching up in the US now. This is good for the Brain and Brawn companies Mike. Bechtel and Crown Castle Inc. form the US, plus Skanska from Sweden are hard at work on 3G rollout here in Europe.

The good thing about the sudden plunge into 3G by the US, (at least for me who love to see ILEC's dumping fixed line, OK I know is not going to happen tomorrow morning!!) is that money for fixed line side of the business will not be available.

Just see those telcos here in Europe trying to raise cash and cut down debt. The US is Europe tomorrow.

Anyone over there planning to retire the pager? (I'm just provoking one of Ray's replies)
