carL: So why did Intel grant licenses to 3 (4 if you count VIA) companies that are making DDR chipsets for the P4? Isn't that, like, a deviation from "full support?" For the same reason that INfineon, MU and Hyundai will be paying RMBS royalties on DDR memory if they decide to settle. US companies are required by law to offer in a evenhanded manner licenses at fair and reasonable rates to if they are licnesing their technology by the antitrust laws. Keep your fingers moving on the keyboard; you haven't convinced anyone tonight about any changes in your true beliefs about RMBS that you have been spouting for months on end. john
