No kidding. I'm not hopeful, though, because the first set of comments were from CeBIT, and CeBIT is too big a show for PALM to show up with anything but their best.

I was going to do the pre-order thing for the m505, but now I'm thinking it would probably be smarter to just get a low-end model instead and wait for the next product-line rev. But that means Handspring, not Palm, because I can't stand the looks of the m1xx line.

BTW, the Palm V/x rebates appear to have kicked in...probably a foregone conclusion given the amount of goods PALM needed (needs) to move.

David, that article said a charge of the color Palm m505 last many weeks - due to its slightly dimmer screen vs. a brightly lit screen which only last several hours. I think it's not rocket science to make the screen bright like a bulb but how much batteries you want to give up on that ? A dimmer screen could be easier on your eyes too for eBook readings.
