His comments are precisely in line with current year estimates for revenue growth. QCOM estimates that chipset orders will grow from 60 million to 90 million with 20% decline in ASP's

I believe the ASP comment was in regards to handsets. I had thought guidance was that ASIC ASP's would be near flat as we transitioned to the MSM3300/5000.

I agree that Sulpizio's comments had to be referring to revenue growth, because First Call is showing eps growth of 20% this year and 30% next. If Sulpizio was intending to announce a change in this, up or down, he couldn't do it this way under the new disclosure rules.

Am looking forward to clarification from IR <g>.
