<the baby boomers are watching> I try to get away to the islands in the winter and came back a couple weeks ago and saw something I've never seen there before. It seemed any hotel lobby, basement, or bar (including outside) had people standing in front of the TV watching the market. I've never seen people of every age literally come out of the elevator in their swimwear and veer to the tv to check the market before. The one unanimous comment night after night was "it'll bounce back". None of them were saying "I can't wait to buy more (favorite stock here)". The psychology is ripe for the gold market. It's the easiest story in the world to sell - in a free market with objective media. Better a year early than a day late???
