Hey Max, you got a 'cool post' for today.

It's sooooo close to the Oscars. Coincidence? I think not.

...as we watch this slow grinding downward process we are witnessing i feel a deprogramming of Cult Members

Nah... As soon as the hidden hands walk the tech stocks back up 50% for no apparent reason, you'll see what we always see and that is hoards of greedy people racing to jump on the bandwagon, terrified of missing the boat. Greed drives this ship, not fundamentals, not logic, just impassioned human greed. The game is one of attrition, and the motivation for the game is greed. Seeing the NDX lose nearly 70% of it's value isn't scary to me, but missing the next ride up is a horrifying thought. I believe a few others may feel the same way. :-)

Eventually, we'll get that ride up. The object of the game until then is to still be breathing when the ship launches.

Ciao,
John

The market is really a diabolical beast. First everyone and their dog "knew" they had to buy and hold, even though there were ample signs to sell. Now everyone knows they "have" to sell, that the economy is going to the toilet blah blah blah. Yet, the market is giving us signs to buy.

Guys. This is very important. Any of you who are interested look at this. Cohen ups her stock allocation. Why then has Goldman been sitting on the ask in CSCO for 3 straight weeks. Goldman is single handedly holding the Nasdaq hostage. They know that if CSCO does not go up, then the Nasdaq might rally, but it will not sustain going up. I think what they are doing is a crime. For those of you who love conspiracy theories this is a great one. Watch level two quotes tomorrow on CSCO. Goldman will be selling all day. Just like the last 3 weeks. Why? Friggin BS IMO
