It was quite offensive and not at all funny. If you were angry at him one could see why you posted it. Perhaps you have latent hostility you are not in touch with.

Your comment about the school yard was referencing your experience (as a child)...my "tease" was implying that this episode was resent (as an adult on a playground). So the implication (tease) is that you were attacked by the kids (as an adult) for trying to push drugs or molestation or something. The only person I've seen try to make child molestation funny was someone of the ilk of Richard Pryor or Don Rickles. This was a post to E and not you. I thought I must be missing something. Believe it or not, I wasn't being dense, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt (which you didn't give me, of course). Considering your protestations against sarcasm, I thought you must have meant I was unpopular for other reasons. You look like a real schmuck suggesting that I was a child molester (or drug dealer or something). You're right it wasn't funny. And you gave good ol' Neo a good hoot, huh? Perhaps you were projecting when you accused Solon and me of doing this (which we weren't).
