<<Does natural gas produce Co2 when burned? >>

You produce Co2 when you breathe. Gore would have stopped excessive breathing.

Zoltan, burning natural gas produces less of all pollutants than does buring coal. With proper technology, all but the CO2 can be brought down to gas levels for coal. The CO2 can be reduced or some of it comsumed by feeding it to greenhouses or by planting/preserving forests to consume the CO2 on a worldwide basis. Yes, CO2 is a problem for coal, but we have a lot of coal and not much gas.
