Everyone has a gun in Israel and Switzerland? I doubt that children are slinging guns in Zurich.

I do not disagree that our children are faced with many bad influences, including drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and hate groups. These problems need to be addressed, and fast. As I stated, the REALITY is that our kids are under some strongly evil influences; mix that with the REALITY that they have easy access to guns, and you get a school shooting a week. The REALITY is that we need to fix those evil influences; the REALITY is that in the meantime we need to take the guns out of their reach.

I do not propose gun control as a singular solution, but part of a sane program of making our country safe again.

Have you seen the news, again today? ANOTHER school shooting? How many dead so far? I happened to notice a news article buried on page 8 about a month or so ago, where a student brought a knife to school and attacked schoolmates. He was quickly brought under control, and two students were slightly injured. Contrast that with our CA shooting recently, the Colorado shootings, etc. The cold hard REALITY is that, without access to guns, MANY FEWER PEOPLE WOULD BE KILLED VIOLENTLY.

No wonder the rest of the world shakes their head when they hear how easy it is to get a gun in America.

YOUR FREEDOM TO RAISE A MILITIA DOES NOT EXTEND TO THE ABILITY TO ARM CHILDREN AND CRIMINALS THAT MAY END UP SHOOTING MY KIDS!

Mere possession of guns isn’t the problem

Indeed it is not. The problem was made clear to me last fishing season when, after purchasing a bag of plastic fishing lures, I read on the bag in large boldfaced letters the following words:

NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION! NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION!

Bush/Hoover- Improved Thread- No Confidence Vote?

Freash new links as resistance grows, a new joke section and tough questions await.

Pass the time while your portfolios trickle to zero during the banana dictatorship.

Remember people used to vote for president? Holy Cow - Imagine that!
