David, << I wonder if the "two way walkie talkie" feature Nextel has will work across the two networks >> Hard to say at this juncture ... my gut would say only on the ESMR system, but I have to believe we will see dual-mode handsets ... and commitments for this probably already made ... probably from MOT ... maybe some QCOM assistance. Complicating all this is GSM roaming, but that is not insurmountable either. Don't necessarily need a single chip solution. - Eric -
