OT (while we wait for the Naz to rally, and enjoy the OSX rally).

CNN just had a story on about parole/clemency. It seems that Sirhan Sirhan, the political assassin, has been denied parole again, for "failure to take responsibility" for his act. 32 years in prison and my guess is he never gets out. At the same time, people are rallying to get immediate clemency for the boy in Florida who threw the 8 year old girl around like a rag doll until she was dead. I'm not supporting parole for S.S., but I'm wondering at the immediacy of the need for clemency for the Florida murderer. Shouldn't this kid do at least 10 years in juvenile detention? Talk about a reckless disregard for life. Now they've decided (the "reinvigorated" Black Panthers) that the prosecution of the killer was "racist." The victim was a little black girl, of course, but I guess that family's situation is a non-issue, since they didn't hire Johnnie Cochran and the OJ defense team.

Strange world we live in.
