The Russian might have beaten Germany without the help of the US and UK but it would have been a lot harder and the cost would have been even higher then the horrible cost they did pay. The invasion of the USSR would have started earlier in the year if it wasn't for the diversion in North Africa which would have allowed the Germans to cause even more damage before winter. With most of the Western front troops sent to the Eastern Front and the earlier start the Germans would have probably been able to reach the objectives of their original plans. The Russians might have been able to fight back later without having Moscow (or with Moscow turned in to another Stalingrad) and without the oil fields in the south but this is uncertain.
