Seems the powers that be are opting for candles. I don't think there's a single plant planned or approved in recent weeks. No ground being broke or anything. And our Idiot in Chief, Gray Davis, would like the state to take over. The only good thing about this is that his career is probably over.

NG is expensive now and limited in supply. How much sense does it make to build a bunch of those type of plants?

Nuclear makes a lot of sense to me, but there's a snowball's chance of that happening.
