Bears days are numbered
Terry, yes, Naz fell significantly, but if you look at individual stocks they are still very expensive. The stock market bubble was just too huge.
Semi stocks must be halved and halved again. Semi margins are in a free fall. I work for semi company. Last few year growth was unsustainable. Projected growth rate was unrealistic. AMAT asked suppliers to cut prices by 30%. Their (suppliers) margins will be cut 70%. Earnings will be cut 90%. P/E goes up tenfold. Right now most bad news are ignored. It's called denial.

Someone who had $800,000 to lose is not the sort of sign of desperation that one looks for in a bottom. This is a luxury loss. When folks stop buying the dip with their little stashes of $5,000 and $10,000 and feed that equities are evil, then we'll have something to build on. Yes, it is a very sad story and one can not help but feel compassion for their situation.

IMO, you underestimate how high we went. If you are betting that this will be the first controlled bubble bursting in history, then you have chosen to play some very long odds. My goodness Terry, the bull is hardly dented. Get back to me when the 1982 trendline is behind us and we get fairly well inside the gray channel.

Anywhere inside said channel is still a bullish chart, just not a clown chart.
