For such a bright guy, Rubin has bought into the rubbish that government should follow redistributionist policies, rather than encourage capital formation (God save us all from Goldman Sachs!). Not only is it ineffective to steal (yes, steal) 40% of the money earned by the highest brackets, it's economic suicide-as you can see from the current Klinton Kollapse.

Note to Rubin (who has now replaced Bob McNamara as America's most brilliant idiot): It's about capital formation, stupid! Don't reduce, but eliminate taxes on capital gains, interest, dividends, and (that great shell-game fraud) the corporate income tax. And carve it into the constitution, like chiseling it in granite: The combined branches of government may NOT seize more than 20% of ANYONE's income...

"Of course, the REAL need is to get the FF down to 3.5%...quick. "

Here comes stagflation again.
