The nesting instinct hadn't occurred to me. <g> I assumed that people who are good at math take to it, while those of us who see math as a series of indecipherables will just have to struggle. But I like a challenge, and I'm not afraid to stick my nose in there, as long as someone is around to set things right after I'm done poking around.
