fyo, so they act to force a minimum of 200 ms between those 52 steps, assuming they were all taken quickly to ramp from 1000 to 500 as fast as possible without halting it for 52 intervals. that could eman that the actual switch time is very small and may be an on the fly synchronous change with no lost states. With no inertia involved all that would happen is a longer or shorter wait for a clocked and so it is possible to do it.
