LOL, sometimes i find myself asking that same question. LIKE WHAT IS YAHOO REALLY? where the heck did they get 1.1 billion in revenues in a couple of years. What do they do. Really. ( I can't explain it - I guess I'll ask Skeeter.)

No i couldn't disagree more. They provide a service second to none. Everybody is better off. Nobody is worse off. Big Money will support that. You will see.

Let me ask you this. Why is AOL worth $2513/user (Market Cap/User) and Yahoo is worth $139 per user. (according to mediametrix) After all, they both have routers, they both have wiring closets. LOL. What are you missing here. Proprietary technology. LOL. GO FISH.

Tell me about Japan's health sciences industry. Has anyone here taken any Japanese medicines lately?

If ANY country were forced to decide between the US or Japan as a trading partner, which would they choose? A trade surplus doesn't mean trade superiority. Compare China's trade surplus growth with the US compared to Japan's. Japan labor (on a par with the US labor cost) is losing to China's cheaper labor. China and others can buy best practices from the US or Germany or any other advanced industrial nation. Just call Fluor or Bechtel or whomever. They can have a refinery, or dam, or auto plant, whatever they want.
