we are at the start of housing price deflation and we have a long way to go till we hit the bottom While this may be true overall, it won't be equally true for all housing markets. We know how much the Nasdaq bubble affected housing in Silicon Valley or the Boston suburbs; but it seems to have had less effect in central New Jersey (just to name another re market I'm familiar with).
