Here is a quote from the SV real estate report:

Prices, while backing off the incredible highs of last year, are still higher than they were last February: the average single-family home price is up 12.9% to $713,343, while the median price rose 18.7% to $555,000. Prices will continue to level off. The question is will they start dropping? Don't know.

Duhhh... let's see... dot-coms bust, naz down 60+%, no job, no salary, house asking price $713,343...
