LOR is on an irreversible course to annihilation Crushing debt load, no new sources of capital. Circumstances considered, this painful conversion dilution is a necessary step for LOR's survival. Basically what we have here is the flip side of needing to retire fixed charges incurred with all the G* related debt. So, I can't fault BLS for doing this now, as there aren't a lot of other choices; but lots of people saw it coming long time ago, and BLS was in denial.
